After School Art Club - Term 4

Bookings are now open for Term 4 Art Club. Fees are charged per term, mid term enrolments are available subject to class numbers, cost will be calculated to reflect the remaining classes.

6th October-1st December (9 weeks) - Art Club One (3.30-4.30) for ages 6-10 $315 per term

6th October-1st December (9 weeks) - Art Club Two (4.45-6.15) for ages 10+ $360 per term

Can’t wait for school holiday art camp!? You can now join us every Tuesday after school for some afternoon art club fun! After School Art Club will run for 9 weeks in term 4 with students being introduced to a variety of artmaking materials, skills & techniques across the 9 week class. Class sizes will be much smaller than holiday workshops, to allow for plenty of one on one assistance in this shorter class format.

A large focus of After School Art Club is encouraging children & teenagers to build their own creative identity and supporting them to realise their own creative ideas while introducing them to new materials, teaching new skills and offering new ways to look at things. Participants will be directed through specific projects while being given the freedom to make work aligned to their own interests. As students build their creative confidence and develop preferences for materials and styles of making, they will have more freedom to explore their own ideas and spend more time using their medium/media of choice.

The content of these classes will be flexible to allow us to meet the needs and interests of the children involved. It will include such activities as: drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, sculpture, assemblage etc. If your kids have attended one of Chloë’s workshops before, you can be assured they will be doing new things and exploring new ideas.

All Chloë’s workshops are designed with the belief that art is a powerful medium through which children can explore, discover, and express their inner world in a supportive and fun environment. Overall, these workshops lay a solid foundation for your child's creative life and contribute to their holistic development. The emphasis on process and fun ensures that the joy of creation remains at the core of their artistic experiences. In Art Club, the pure pleasure of making art will always be prioritised over a perfect end product.
